JIM BARNHART attended the University of Vienna in Austria and speaks fluent German, a wonderful gift that contributes to the richness of his life experience but frankly, has not had a huge impact on real estate! He also attended a private men's college in Indiana, (Wabash) but ultimately graduated from his hometown school in 1970, California State University, San Diego with his B.A. degree in Real Estate and International Marketing. He subsequently opened a successful brokerage in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California, acquiring broad real estate experience in large acreage and fine homes in all price ranges, from cabins to estates!
Jim has been a licensed general contractor in both California and Oregon, a frequent advantage in serving clients whose needs embrace land selection, site-specific design and home evaluations, including remodeling considerations. He is specifically educated in analysis of the total spatial environment which he believes has a profound effect on individual and collective well-being.
